Apple dan Samsung Gagal Berdamai Dalam Perang Paten - Nampaknya upaya perdamaian dan penyelesaian terkait perang paten antara Apple dan Samsung gagal menemui titik temu. Karena kedua belah pihak terlihat bersikukuh dengan pendiriannya masing-masing dan saling menuntut satu sama lain.
Menurut Reuters, upaya perdamaian antara kedua perusahan tersebut terkait perang paten terlihat akan gagal dan cenderung akan menjadi semakin parah. Sebelumnya, CEO Apple Tim Cook telah bertemu dengan dua petinggi Samsung yaitu Wakil Ketua Choi Gee-sung dan Kepala Mobile Shin Jong-Kyun. Pertemuan tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah antara keduanya sebelum kasus ini disidangkan.

Samsung dan Apple sudah terlibat perang paten sejak April 2011. Perang paten tersebut dimulai sejak Apple mengajukan gugatan kepada Samsung di Pengadilan Distrik Utara California. Dalam gugatan tersebut, Apple menuduh Samsung menggunakan tampilan dan nuansa yang terdapat pada tablet iPad dan smartphone iPhone.

Glympse Keyboard, Berbagi Lokasi Dari Aplikasi Lain | Glympse adalah sebuah aplikasi yang memungkinkan penggunanya untuk berbagi lokasi dengan teman-temannya secara real time, pengguna juga dapat memilih siapa yang akan menerima lokasi yang dikirimkan. Penerima akan mendapatkan link lokasi melalui media yang digunakan oleh pengirim sebelumnya.  Jika anda mengatur timer, maka lokasi yang akan dibagikan akan terkirim ke penerima dalam waktu yang sudah ditentukan sebelumnya.

Tidak perlu membuka aplikasi lain untuk melakukannya. Jika hanya untuk menulis pesan atau aktivitas lainnya, Glympse Keyboard tidak memaksakan kepada anda untuk menggunakannya, anda masih dapat menggunakan keyboard favorit anda yang lainnya seperti Swype atau SwiftKey jika anda ingin. Glympse Keyboard hanya akan muncul ketika anda ingin berbagi lokasi, dan mudah diakses pada setiap Keyboard yang dipasang di perangkat Android anda.

Cara Kerja Glympse Keyboard

Saat menjalankan Glympse Keyboard, anda akan melihat 2 pilihan mode "Quick Send" (kirim cepat) dan "Full Keyboard" pada keyboard anda (Setelah anda klik, akan muncul sebuah popup yang akan memungkinkan anda untuk berbagi lokasi anda dan ketika anda melakukannya secara otomatis menghilang). Jika memilih mode "Quick Send", pengguna dapat mengatur durasi untuk Glympse seperti biasa (misalnya 15 menit), termasuk pesan singkat, tujuan pengiriman, dan kemudian dibagikan.

Kemudian link lokasi akan disisipkan ke dalam aplikasi yang anda gunakan (misalnya WhatsApp, Gmail), dan kembali menggunakan keyboard utama anda. Namun, jika anda memilih "Full Keyboard", Glympse akan menggantikan keyboard utama anda sepenuhnya, dan mengganti kunci G untuk ikon Glympse.
